For as long as I can remember, my mother painted in silence. Not because she had nothing to say — but because life didn’t leave her space to say it.

She’s a classically trained painter, but art was never her profession. It was her therapy. Her escape. Her way to process joy, grief, motherhood, memory — in color and form. 

For 30 years, she came home from work and painted. Not for galleries, not for money, not for likes — just because she needed to.

And yet, not a single piece was ever shared.

She used to ask me, “Do you think anyone would ever want my paintings?” And I always said, “They would — if they saw them.”

So I made her a promise:
One day, I’ll make sure they do.

This project is that promise — and a little more.
Because… she doesn’t know about it yet.

I’ve selected 30 of her most powerful paintings and made them available as canvas prints and wearable art. Quiet, emotional, deeply personal works that helped her survive — and might now help others feel seen, healed, or simply held.
